In the example below you can see from the Google Tag Manager Server Side Preview how the data can flow:
Google Analytics 4 script retrieves data from the client (the visitor's browser) (First Party) and sends it directly to the Server.
In this example, a request is sent to the Facebook Conversion API via your own server.
In this example, a request is sent from your own server to Google Analytics 4.
If you then click on the Tags tab you can see which tags have been fired:
Google Analytics 4 tag has been fired.
Facebook Conversion API has been fired.
An Event has been measured and forwarded to Google Analytics 4.
If you then look in Google Analytics 4, you can see that the event is measured there. You can then use this to analyze your visitors.
