How to Pause Tags in GTM

In Google Tag Manager (GTM), tags are used to track data on your website or app. If you need to troubleshoot an issue or temporarily stop tracking certain data and don’t want the tag to run or delete, you can pause the tag. When a tag is paused, it stops firing, but its settings are saved.
