Send this file to your webmaster. When the installation is complete follow the next steps
Creating the magento plugin in Trytagging
Use the following settings:
Web GTM ID. You can retrieve this by following the article: Finding Google Tag Manager Web ID
Cookie recovery can be enabled by default unless you choose not to use it or are using the Free plan.
Select Magento as the platform.
Now click on “Create” or “Aanmaken”.
After this you'll be met with the following screen:
This is the code you will need when setting up Magento.
This is the connected domain name you will need when setting up Magento.
Setting up Magento
In the Magento admin dashboard, go to Stores -> Configuration. Then click on AdPage -> AdPage GTM. You will then see the following screen:
Set Enabled to Yes
Enter the Container HEAD code you created in the previous step
Enter the Container URL you created in the previous step
After entering these settings, click on Save Configuration, and you will receive a message that you need to clear the cache. Once you have completed this step, the plugin should be properly configured for use.
