[Shopify] Setting up the Adpage Pixel + Datalayer
In August 2024, we will be working with “Customer events” in the Shopify checkout. Our developer team is busy implementing this change from Shopify.
Go to the Server container overview and click on start with Pixel installation.
For platform, select “Shopify” (1), for “Domain” (2), select the domain name linked to your Shopify store, and for “web container ID” (3), add the web container ID of Google Tag Manager. You can find out how to find the GTM ID in the following article:

Then click on “Create”. You will see that a step-by-step plan has been generated that you can follow.
