Things have been changed on my site; how can I ensure that my measurements are still working correctly?
When you make changes to your site, such as updating your URLs, changing button and link texts, modifying the checkout process, or updating your DataLayer, you’ll want to ensure that these changes don’t affect your measurements.
By opening your site in the test environment of the preview mode, you can review all the changes on your site and trigger the relevant events. Within the preview mode, you can track which tags are fired and which ones are not.
If tags that should have fired did not, click on the event in the vertical left-hand menu where you expected the tag to be fired. After selecting that event, you can click on the non-fired tag to see what might be wrong with the trigger.
Within that tag, you can see why the trigger didn’t work and make adjustments based on what went wrong.
