Installing Cookie Recovery
In update 16.4 Safari, the First Party cookie is deleted from the server after 7 days. This means that your attribution (visitor journey) is only visible for 7 days. In this article we explain how you can solve this and extend the cookie indefinitely.
Delete your existing pixel. If you are setting up a new pixel you can skip this step.
Select the domain name you want to create cookie recovery for and enter your web container ID from Google Tag Manager. Then turn on Cookie Recovery.
Then select the platform for which you want to install Cookie Recovery and click create.
Currently we only support Wordpress and custom installation. For customized implementation of Cookie Recovery, it is best to contact support.
