Preview GTM Server Side check
This check is essential. From your own server you will send requests to platforms such as Meta or Google.
Make sure you are in the Server Container in Google Tag Manager.
Then click on preview
You will now be redirected to your own subdomain name. It will look something like this, depending on your settings.
Now go to the website where you installed the Forwarder Pixel. Click once on a menu item and go back to the preview of Google Tag Manager Server Side. You will then see that data is being received from your own server to Google Tag Manager.
Congratulations. If you see data coming in like the screenshot above, it means your Google Tag Manager Server Side configuration is working. So you can now get started with setting up your events & conversions correctly. We will explain how you can do this through the other articles in this category.
